What is based on?

To validate educational practice, Escalae uses two references:

  • Ideological: specifies the learning outcomes at each school or college in terms of their students, ie the social function of teaching.
  • Scientific: centres on the knowledge offered by the psychology of learning and didactics on how people learn.
  • Based on the educational objectives and the knowledge of learning processes, it is possible to identify the most suitable educational practices for each school or college, and find out how to continually improve them and certify their quality.

The Escalae Quality System is based on the protocols developed by the Institute of Education Resources and Research (IRIF) for the quality of educational processes.

These protocols are constantly revised and updated by a scientific committee of experts working in the field of formal education (from preschool to university) and non-formal education (vocational, business training, etc.).

The next challenge is to expand the international committee of experts to continually revise, update and develop education quality protocols coordinated and supervised by IRIF.
