Description of the school:

Escuela Infant Jesús is a state-supported denominational private school that caters for preschool, primary, secondary and baccalaureate students.
Its mission is to educate, and it sees education as a comprehensive, dynamic process where students play an active and responsible role in pursuit of personal growth and developing human and transcendental skills.
It aims to prepare people for lifelong education and follows the freely built scale of values based on Christian humanism.
It holds ISO 9001 international certification.

Summary of the process:

Escuela Infant Jesús carried out four Self-diagnoses for preparing the Strategic Teaching for Education Plan (STEP), one for each of its educational levels.
The four sessions for preparing the STEPs were carried out according to plan with a very wide-ranging action team representing the four educational levels.
The questionnaire analysing teaching practice was completed by over eighty teachers.

Results obtained:

The entire action team at the school was actively involved in the process. In general, teachers were satisfied and eager to apply improvements and offer resources to develop projects for improvement at the school. Their assessments were very positive and they acknowledged that they had thought deeply about their teaching practice and got a better idea of the school in terms of specific data. However, they did think some features of the questionnaire could be made clearer.
